Fibergrate's Certification to Standard 61 means that select products have been screened and tested to ensure that they do not leach any unwanted components into drinking water they would be exposed to. Fibergrate produces all of these NSF® Standard 61 Certified products at our Stephenville and Queretaro facilities. Products currently certified to Standard 61 include:

Fibergrate IFR Molded Grating - This is Fibergrate's standard Isophthalic Fire-Retardant resin system and all of the chemical resistance and structural properties remain unchanged. Standard 61 Certified molded gratings are available with a meniscus surface finish and come standard in light gray. This system can be used to produce NSF Standard 61 Certified Molded Grating in any of the available Fibergrate® or Chemgrate® molded grating mesh patterns and grating thicknesses.

Fibergrate VEFG Molded Grating - A member of the Vi-Corr® family of resins, the VEFG system is a premium Vinyl Ester Fire-Retardant resin system custom formulated to meet the NSF Standard 61 Certification requirements. All of the chemical resistance and structural properties of molded gratings made from this VEFG system are identical to those manufactured in the Vi-Corr system. Again, this system comes standard in light gray and can be used to produce NSF Standard 61 Certified molded grating in any of the available Fibergrate or Chemgrate molded grating mesh patterns and grating thicknesses.

Dynaform® Fiberglass Structural Shapes - Available in all standard Dynaform profiles, the NSF Standard 61 Certified shapes are pulled in non fire-retardant isophthalic and vinyl ester systems. Certified shapes come standard in light gray and the chemical resistance and structural properties of these shapes are equivalent to standard Dynaform shapes.

Dynarail® FRP Handrail and Ladders - Pulled in non fire-retardant isophthalic and vinyl ester systems, the NSF Standard 61 Certified handrail and ladders are available in light gray and yellow. The chemical resistance and structural properties of these systems are equivalent to standard Dynarail handrail and ladder systems and meet the applicable OSHA and IBC requirements.
