The infrared ovens are automatically site operated (only “ON”) when product is indicated. Reduced styrene emissions by adding suppressants to the resin mixes and implemented several innovative pollution prevention practices for reducing emissions in the blending and application processes. Modified polyester resin formulations to incorporate higher solids to reduce emissions up to 10%. Eliminated the use of acetone. Implemented a solid waste recycling program that reduced solid waste generation by 30%.
